The straight bar horseshoe is often the go to therapeutic shoe for a number of injuries and pathologies. This shoe is easily fabricated from a standard machine made shoe with a pre-cut, pre-shaped weld in straight bar insert. This shoe is often used to provide stability to the heels and rigidity to the hoof capsule when combined with pour in packing materials or impression material.
