St. Croix
St. Croix Forge was founded in 1984 by Curt Carlson in Forest Lake, MN, with the goal of producing the best horseshoes in North America. By 1990 St. Croix Forge was the largest manufacturer of horseshoes in North America. St. Croix's range of styles has continued to increase in order to meet the demands of farriers and horse owners. Today the company produces more than 20 styles of horseshoes for every discipline. In 1999 St. Croix Forge was acquired by the Mustad Company.
