The NEW Mustad 4½ Slider nail has been designed specifically for use in Reining horse hind shoes (Sliding plates).  The shape of the head has a taper which locks firmly into most sliding plates, and has a flat head that fits flush with the shoe.  This design virtually eliminates the need to grind or rasp the nail head for ideal sliding conditions.
